Our factory-direct pricing structure minimizes overhead unlike anyone else, resulting in prices far below other stores. Objective, expert advice is provided in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. And above all, we make shopping for a mattress fun.
We maintain a beautiful showroom with 25 premium models from which to choose. Innerspring, memory foam and latex - we have it all. We feature premium mattresses at extraordinary discounts and eschew the lower-quality mattresses that are all-too-common in our industry. Our inventory is on-site and most of the items are available for immediate pick-up (special orders take only a week). We're the most consumer-friendly mattress store you'll find, and we're genuinely appreciative of your patronage.
At Mattress To Go you don't have to worry about pushy salespeople - I don't have any. Instead, you'll deal directly with me - the owner. I have over 20 years of award-winning experience in the mattress industry and I take a research-based approach when helping you select a new mattress. My unique mattress educational process - something I call a Beducation® - helps me find the product that best suits your specific needs. No games or gimmicks, just honest objective advice.
Our incredible savings are achieved by minimizing overhead and reflecting that in our everyday prices. Since we don't maintain a sales staff we're able to eliminate the sales commissions and bonuses normally built into all mattress prices. Another thing I've done is eliminate the in-house delivery staff, as this is one of the largest overhead costs included in mattresses. Realize that delivery is never "free" - it's a large fixed cost added into the price of every mattress in a store. And since most people still choose to pick up their mattresses, it never made sense to me that these customers should pay to effectively subsidize the mattress delivery of others. All of these savings combine and allow us to offer everyday prices that are generally 20%-30% lower than anyone's sale price on quality name-brand mattresses. This is really the only way to offer a better price on a premium mattress, and we're the only place you'll find that does it like this in Michigan.
My family and I have operated award-winning sleep shops since 1992. We've won every award that the Western Michigan Better Business Bureau offers to a retail establishment, and we've received numerous Pinnacle Customer Service Awards. Mattress To Go's unique concept is the result of combining my many years of retail sleep shop experience with the public's requests for affordable premium mattresses. And while our minimum overhead pricing concept may be new, our level of service and community involvement remains stellar. Part of our Comfort For Everyone campaign is that we make frequent donation to our local domestic violence shelters. And we're also a permanent donation center for the Cell Phones for Soldiers program.

About Jeff
Jeff grew up in southwest Michigan. He attended Michigan State University (MSU) and graduated in 1988 from the MSU Honors College with a degree in exercise science, achieving the highest GPA in the School of Health Education, Counseling Psychology and Human Performance. He then pursued a career as an amateur luge athlete and eventually became the Strength, Conditioning and Start Coach for the USA luge program and was a coach on the 1994 USA Winter Olympic Luge Team. Jeff, his brother and his dad later established one of Michigan's premier sleep shops, Mattress Mart. In 2006 Jeff moved to southeast Michigan to live with his wife Kristine, affording him the opportunity to establish Mattress To Go. Jeff's education and practical background allow him to work closely with his customers and their health-care professionals in understanding their unique physical characteristics while assisting them in finding the mattress that best suits their particular needs.
