The Ballad Plush is a model in the premium Therapedic® Bravura™ Classic Collection. It rates a 5 on our 1-10 (hard to soft) plushness scale. The Ballad Plush is a popular model for those who desire a medium plush comfort that contours well to your body. Like all premium Bravura products, the Ballad Plush is hand crafted using a high-quality pocketed marshall spring unit, exquisite covers and the latest in infused foam technology.
The innerspring unit in the Ballad Plush is the Leggett and Platt Quantum® Edge Elite Bolsa unit. This spring unit is tempered in the shape of the spring for increased durability. The Quantum Edge Elite Bolsa offers great body conforming support, while at the same time it helps to minimize motion transfer. The Quantum Edge provides a firm perimeter edge reinforcement system by using steel instead of foam, providing a firmer seating edge and an extended overall sleep surface. It is 26% more durable than a typical foam edge system and bends 24% easier for use on adjustable bed bases.
Quilted to the stretch-knit covering of the Ballad Plush is a 1" layer of gel performance foam, an advanced gel-infused polyurethane foam that's both durable and comfortable, and a .5" piece of Comfort polyurethane foam completes the quilt panel. Beneath that is a 1.5" piece of 5-zone plush polyurethane foam that is zoned in the middle for extra durability. The final layer is a firm pre-compressed insulator pad.
All the foam layers in the Ballad Plush are CertiPUR-US® certified and securely affixed to the support unit to ensure durability. Safe and healthy TheraSafe® fiber is used to meet flame retardant guidelines instead of toxic chemicals. The Ballad Plush has a 10 year non-prorated warranty. This mattress set is made in the USA using 100% premium domestic components.
