The Therability HD heavy-duty wood foundation is one of the strongest mass produced wood foundations made domestically. This non-flexing foundation is strong enough to support any style of mattress. There are closely spaced top slats, with approximately 3" between the slats, so this foundation is appropriate for even the heaviest all-latex mattresses. The queen size also features double head-to-toe support beams, as well as two side wall support beams to keep a stable, square geometry, while also eliminating sidewall flex. This is a heavier item, so we strongly suggest a Split Full or Split Queen for ease of moving and stairway transport. This foundation is offered in a variety of different colored fabrics to match the border fabric of the various Therapedic MediCoil HD, TheraLuxe HD, TheraLuxe ICE HD, Pure Touch HD and Immunity HD lines.
