Rochester Hills, MI – December 7, 2010 – Richard Weaver, Rochester Hills Examiner.Com – Mattress To Go in nearby Shelby Township announced today they have donated new pillows to Abigayle Ministries in Sterling Heights. The gift was part of the store’s Comfort For Everyone® program which receives funding for the quarterly giveaway each time a mattress is sold.
Abigayle Ministries operates a residential program for support and housing to homeless pregnant women. The program runs from the time they enter it until three months after the baby is born. While in the program participants receive the support they need to have a successful pregnancy and helps turn their lives around.
The ministry also has a resource center providing needy pregnant women and families with infants with baby items such as diapers, formula, and clothing. They also coordinate transportation to doctor’s visits.
“We’re very happy to help out Abigayle Ministries and we’re proud of the work they perform,” stated Mattress To Go owner Jeff Scheuer.
Mattress To Go offers a full line of deeply discounted mattresses at the store just east of Rochester Hills on Avon Road, known as 23 Mile Road east of the city limits, at Van Dyke Road in Shelby Township. They carry popular brands including Therapedic, Kathy Ireland Home, Memory Touch Memory Foam and Pure Touch Latex.
Scheuer is a mattress expert and provides personalized service to each customer to match them for the best mattress to meet their sleeping needs. His efforts earned him the 2010 Pinnacle Award from Therapedic for superior customer service, product knowledge and sales.
Scheuer hopes this program will help raise awareness regarding those who are less fortunate and inspire others to give back, especially during this holiday season.
