Shelby Township, MI – April 1, 2013 – Every year thousands of children are forced to flee and live at a shelter to escape domestic violence. This disruption of home life can lead to a lonely experience, especially at nighttime, and something as simple as a new pair of pajamas can help make bedtime a little more comforting for these children. To assist these children, Mattress To Go held a pajama drive during the month of March and collected over 350 pieces for the people staying at the Turning Point shelter.

“We’re extremely thankful and pleased with the donations we received this past month,” stated Mattress To Go owner Jeff Scheuer. “Shelters like Turning Point can always use our help and we’re happy to facilitate charitable giving like this through our Comfort For Everyone™ campaign. It’s one of the many ways that Mattress To Go helps to make a difference in Macomb and Oakland counties. Thank you to everyone who donated.”
