Mattress To Go Makes Mattress Donations to Abigayle Ministries

Mattress To Go recently donated over $1000.00 worth of mattresses to Abigayle Ministries for use in their residential housing program.

Shelby Township, MI. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022 – Mattress To Go owner Jeff Scheuer announced that Mattress To Go recently donated 4 twin mattresses worth over $1000.00 to the Abigayle Ministries. These mattresses will be used in the Abigayle Ministries residential housing program.

“We are pleased to continue our history of donating to Abigayle Ministries,” stated Mattress To Go owner Jeff Scheuer. “I was contacted by Abigayle Ministries, and they stated that they were in need of some new twin mattresses, so I sourced some of our new higher-quality boxed-bed mattresses, making it easier for their volunteers to transport the items and allowing for a very quick set up. Abigayle Ministries does great work in our community, and we always do our best to help them out in their time of need. We encourage other to consider supporting Abigayle Ministries, especially during this holiday season time of giving.”

About Abigayle Ministries

Abigayle Ministries’ Residential Program was established in 1997 to benefit adult homeless pregnant women and their newborns through comprehensive, individualized services, providing a 24-hour-a-day Christ-centered home environment, including shelter, food, coordination of community services, and education.

The goal of the Residential Program is to educate, equip, and encourage women to live constructively and independently, breaking generational cycles of poverty, abuse, and neglect. This constructive and fruitful life change for Abigayle women and their children is accomplished through a comprehensive program that has a focus on the mind, body, soul and life skills.
