Shelby Township, MI – July 7, 2010 – Mattress To Go just received another 50 pillowcases for donation to the Turning Point shelter and also filled up another box of cell phones and shipped them off to the Cell Phones For Soldiers program. 

“We’re proud to continue to show our support for U.S. soldiers and to contribute to a worthy cause like Cell Phones for Soldiers,” says Jeff Scheuer, owner of Mattress To Go. “With the recent addition of NASCAR and General Motors to the Cell Phones For Soldiers family, I wanted to remind everyone that we are still a permanent local donation center for this awesome program. Our soldiers benefit, old cell phones are kept out of landfills, the donation is tax deductible and the company that recycles the cell phones is located in Michigan – everyone wins. And we’re also very appreciative of the continued support for our pillowcase donations to the Turning Point Shelter.”

Donation hours:  Monday – Friday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.;  Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.;  Sunday: Noon – 5 p.m.
