Shelby Township, MI – July 29, 2106 – Mattress To Go owner Jeff Scheuer announced that his store is organizing a cell phone donation drive for the Cell Phones For Soldiers program.

“We have thousands of our troops serving overseas, and these are always difficult times for them to be apart from their families,” stated Scheuer. “By donating your old cell phone at Mattress To Go for the Cell Phones For Soldiers program, you’re helping to provide free calling cards to our troops so that they may stay connected to their loved ones. It’s also a great way to keep your antiquated cell phone out of a landfill and recycle the metals contained on the inside. Clean out your desk drawers and storage bins and bring us your old cell phones and support this great cause!”

Local residents may drop off their used cell phones at Mattress To Go, 51260 Van Dyke Avenue, in Shelby Township (located on the Northeast corner of Van Dyke and 23 Mile Road). Donation hours are Monday-Friday from 10am to 8pm, and Saturday from 10am to 6pm. Visit www.matt-to-go.com for more information.
