Shelby Township, MI – September 29, 2017 – Mattress To Go owner Jeff Scheuer announced that Mattress To Go recently donated six metal platform beds with headboards worth over $1500.00 to the Abigayle Ministries. These bed sets will be used in their residential housing program.
“We are happy to continue our history of donating to Abigayle Ministries,” stated Mattress To Go owner Jeff Scheuer. “I read that they needed bed sets during the remodeling of their residential rooms, so I contacted them to determine their requirements. I then got in touch with one of my suppliers, Mantua Manufacturing Company, and their President, David Jaffe, agreed to assist with this donation. I wish to thank David and everyone at Mantua who helped make this donation of six twin beds sets and headboards possible.”
“We are SO thankful to Jeff and Mattresses To Go for their heart to reach out into community to help others who are less fortunate,” said Susan Meyer, Executive Director of Abigayle Ministries.
“Jeff and his team have reached out to Abigayle Ministries many times to give our moms a warm bed to lie in and pillows to lay their head upon while they await the birth of their child. They have done this for well over 5 years in so many wonderful ways. Their most recent gift of headboards and bedframes for every room is assisting us in our plan to do much needed renovation in every bedroom by replacing all the furniture that is several years old and shows great signs of wear and tear. No words can express our gratitude for partnering with us in ministry to help provide a warm and sheltering environment for the homeless pregnant moms and babies as they await their babies birth.
