Shelby Township, MI – August 14, 2009 – Mattress To Go has opened a brand new sleep shop in Shelby Township at 51260 Van Dyke, on the northeast corner of 23 Mile and Van Dyke. A Grand Opening is planned for the end of August, including a promotion where Mattress To Go will donate a new Sealy Pillow to the Turning Point domestic violence shelter for every mattress set purchased.

“We are really excited to open our newest sleep shop,” stated Jeff Scheuer, owner of Mattress To Go. “We have always wanted to create a different type of sleep shop based around absolute lowest out-the-door pricing, and the time was right. We’ve been in the mattress retail business since 1992, and an increasing number of consumers have been asking for a sleep shop with warehouse club levels of pricing, but with a large selection of higher-quality products displayed in a comfortable sleep shop environment. And that’s how Mattress To Go started. The response has already been incredible; people are amazed at how low our mattresses are priced. People love that they can find a quality, name-brand mattress at a price generally 20-35% less than furniture or other mattress stores, and they can take it home immediately.”

Mattress To Go has over 20 mattresses on display, maintaining an inventory of over 100 mattresses on site for immediate pick-up. A delivery service is available, as is an in-store layaway program. They also specialize in odd sizes, such as twin extra long and RV queens, and can order mattresses in custom sizes.
